‘Vibrant Heat of the Himalayas’ Books on CM Dhami Launched at Raj Bhavan
Books Showcasing Pushkar Dhami’s Journey and Values Released by Governor
Dehradun: Governor Lt. General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) on Thursday released two books based on the personality, journey, and leadership of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan. The books, titled “Pushkar Dhami: Himalaya ki Jeevant Ooshma” (Hindi–English) and “Pushkar Dhami: The Vibrant Heat of the Himalayas,” have been compiled by young author Sambhavna Pant and published by Prabhat Publication and Rupa Publication.

Congratulating the author, the Governor said daughters are truly a divine blessing, and praised Sambhavna Pant’s writing, saying her work reflects her name — “Sambhavna,” meaning potential and promise.
He added that the books beautifully depict how the Chief Minister’s life was shaped by the hardships of the mountains, the ideals of his grandfather Khem Singh, his mother’s grace and humility, and the discipline, dedication and duty-bound lifestyle of his soldier father.
The Governor said that under the leadership of CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttarakhand has achieved several historic milestones and is progressing rapidly in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
He noted that whether it was the Silkyara incident, the situation in Joshimath, or challenges from Dharali to Tharali, CM Dhami stood on the frontlines and reached the affected people first, offering relief and support.

In an emotional address, Chief Minister Dhami recalled his childhood memories of walking mountain trails and crossing streams, and especially remembered the struggles of his mother as the wife of a soldier living in the hills.
He said,
“I never thought I would become something big in life, but I always had the vibrant inner warmth to do something good for society.”
He expressed gratitude to all distinguished guests, the publishers, and the author.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati of Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh praised the CM’s efforts and said that just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working for cultural revival, national unity, and upliftment of youth, women and deprived communities across India, similar efforts are visible in Uttarakhand under CM Dhami’s leadership.

Author Shares the Essence of the Book
Author Sambhavna Pant said the books reflect the Chief Minister’s personal virtues, his conduct, and his visionary approach. They also describe the struggles of his parents and grandfather, under whose influence Dhami grew up.
The books trace his journey from youth to becoming the Chief Servant of the State, highlighting his discipline, humility, strength, and leadership qualities.
