CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Hoists Tricolour at Official Residence, Appeals for Participation in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign
Dehradun, August 14, 2026: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday hoisted the national flag at his official residence in Dehradun as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, calling upon citizens across the state to participate in the nationwide initiative with a sense of patriotism and deep respect for the Tricolour.
The Chief Minister appealed to people to hoist the national flag at their homes, establishments and public places and make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a strong movement of public participation.
CM Dhami said that the campaign is not merely an event, but a celebration of the nation’s unity, pride, commitment and spirit of sacrifice. The Tricolour, he said, represents India’s identity, self-respect, unity, integrity and the sacrifices made for the country.
He said that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, launched following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal, has now become a people’s movement, providing an opportunity for citizens to connect with the spirit of nation-building and strengthen their sense of responsibility towards the country.
The Chief Minister highlighted Uttarakhand’s proud legacy of national service, saying that the state, known for its valour and military tradition, has always played an important role in the defence and service of the nation. He urged every family in the state to participate enthusiastically in the campaign and further strengthen this tradition of patriotism.
CM Dhami also appealed to citizens to hoist the Tricolour with due respect and follow the provisions of the Flag Code of India. He encouraged families to involve children and young people in the campaign and instil in them a sense of respect for the national flag, patriotism and civic responsibility.
Calling for collective participation, the Chief Minister said that such initiatives become successful when citizens come together. He urged the people of Uttarakhand to make ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ a true people’s movement and work together to further strengthen the unity, integrity and pride of the nation.
