Chinyalisaur (Uttarkashi): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday inaugurated the ‘Jan Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan Jan Ke Dwar’ public outreach program at the Chinyalisaur Block premises. The Chief Minister inspected departmental stalls and heard grievances of local residents, directing officials to resolve most issues on the spot.

Over 600 Camps Organized, Lakhs Benefited

The Chief Minister said the campaign has significantly strengthened governance at the grassroots level. So far, more than 600 camps have been organized across the state, with over five lakh citizens participating. More than 40,000 beneficiaries have directly received benefits under various government schemes.

He emphasized that the initiative aims to ensure that people in remote rural areas do not have to travel to district headquarters for minor issues. Camps are being organized at village level to provide on-the-spot solutions, making the administrative system more transparent and citizen-friendly.

Helicopter Services to Expand from Chinyalisaur and Gauchar

CM Dhami announced key decisions regarding expansion of heli services in the state. Helicopter services will be started from Chinyalisaur and Gauchar airstrips, with operations planned to be conducted through the Army.

With the Char Dham Yatra set to begin in April, preparations have already started to ensure a smooth and comfortable pilgrimage experience for devotees. The Chief Minister said the government will act as a coordinator, while local stakeholders including priests, hoteliers, taxi operators, and residents play a vital role in the success of the Yatra.

Focus on Women Empowerment

Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat,” the Chief Minister stated that Uttarakhand will contribute significantly to the national goal. He said the state government is working to promote products made by women self-help groups at national and international levels.

More than two lakh “Lakhpati Didis” have been empowered in the state so far, and demand for women-produced goods is increasing domestically and globally.

Responding to local demands, the Chief Minister assured inclusion of the upgradation of CHC Chinyalisaur and the local college in official CM announcements.

Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan informed that over five lakh citizens have participated in the campaign and more than 40,000 certificates have been issued. Issues that cannot be resolved immediately are being registered online and regularly monitored for resolution.
