‘Jan–Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan–Jan Ke Dwar’ Emerges as a Strong Model of Good Governance under CM Pushkar Singh Dhami
Under the dynamic, sensitive, and people-centric leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Uttarakhand Government’s flagship outreach initiative ‘Jan–Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan–Jan Ke Dwar’ has emerged as a powerful model of good governance, transparency, and swift resolution of public grievances. The program reflects the government’s commitment to taking administration directly to the doorsteps of citizens and addressing their concerns in a time-bound manner.
Widespread Public Participation Across the State
According to the Daily Progress Report as of January 15, 2026, the initiative has witnessed extensive participation across all districts of the state. A total of 347 camps have been organized so far, including 328 camps conducted earlier and 19 camps held today.
These camps have recorded participation from 277,654 citizens, of which 254,137 participated earlier and 23,517 participated today, clearly reflecting growing public trust and the government’s expanding outreach.
Significant Achievement in Grievance Redressal
The program has proven highly effective in addressing public grievances. A total of 22,293 complaints have been registered so far, including 20,814 received earlier and 1,479 new complaints received today.
Out of these, 18,973 complaints have been successfully resolved, with 18,168 resolved earlier and 807 resolved today, underscoring the administration’s efficiency, accountability, and responsiveness.
Swift Delivery of Certificates and Government Services
The camps have also facilitated on-the-spot delivery of certificates and essential government services. So far, 38,255 cases have been provided with certificates or direct benefits, including 36,753 cases earlier and 1,502 cases today, demonstrating effective service delivery at the grassroots level.
Extensive Coverage of Welfare Schemes
A substantial increase has also been recorded in the number of beneficiaries receiving support under various state welfare schemes. A total of 151,565 citizens have benefited so far, including 138,011 beneficiaries earlier and 13,554 new beneficiaries added today, marking a major step toward social security and inclusive development.
Chief Minister’s Message
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that “Jan–Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan–Jan Ke Dwar is not merely a government program, but a bridge of trust between the people and the government.” He emphasized that the government’s priority is to ensure that schemes and services reach the last person standing in the queue.
The Chief Minister reiterated that prompt resolution of public grievances remains the government’s top priority, and this campaign is a living example of that commitment.
