Under Uttarakhand’s ‘Administration at Doorsteps’ drive, 1,844 villagers benefited in Lakhamandal camp with pensions, ration cards, certificates & 705 health checkups.

Under the Uttarakhand Government’s flagship campaign “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar, Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” (Government for Every Citizen, At Every Doorstep – Administration Towards Villages), a multi-purpose public service camp was organized on Tuesday at Lakhamandal village in Chakrata block (Nyaya Panchayat Kandoi-Bondur). The camp was chaired by Joint Magistrate Dr. Harshita Singh.
Geetaram Gaud, Minister in charge of the Tribal Advisory Council, Uttarakhand Government, was also present at the camp. During the drive, grievances of villagers were addressed on the spot, and more than 1,844 beneficiaries received benefits under various departmental schemes.
Direct Delivery of Government Schemes
Joint Magistrate Dr. Harshita Singh stated that as per the directions of the Chief Minister, the campaign aims to ensure that welfare schemes reach citizens directly through village-level camps. She emphasized that grievances are being resolved on priority and essential certificates are being issued on the spot, saving villagers from repeated visits to tehsil or district headquarters.
37 Complaints Registered, Majority Resolved On the Spot
A total of 37 complaints were registered during the camp, most of which were resolved immediately. The remaining cases were forwarded to the concerned departments with instructions for time-bound disposal.

Extensive Health Services Provided
The Health Department conducted:

Free medicines were distributed to all patients.

Agriculture Department: 112 farmers benefited through distribution of agricultural equipment, seeds, and PM Kisan benefits.

Dairy Department: 42 beneficiaries.

Animal Husbandry: 342 livestock owners received free veterinary medicines.

Social Welfare Department: 45 cases addressed; 18 social pensions approved.

Panchayati Raj Department: 87 farmer pensions processed and family register copies issued.

Food & Civil Supplies Department: 48 ration card unit increases and 5 e-KYC updates completed.

Women & Child Development: 34 beneficiaries received Chief Minister Mahalakshmi Kits, Kishori Kits, and stationery bowls.

Employment Department: 125 beneficiaries supported.

Additionally, 30 certificates were issued on the spot, providing immediate relief to residents.
