Uttarakhand CM Dhami Congratulates PM Modi on Completing 12 Years of Leadership

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a letter on the completion of 12 successful years of his leadership. On behalf of the people of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister also congratulated the Prime Minister for becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister of India.

In his message, Chief Minister Dhami stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has achieved remarkable milestones in development, good governance, national security, cultural renaissance, and global recognition. He noted that the past 12 years have witnessed transformative changes that have improved the lives of millions while strengthening India’s position on the world stage.

The Chief Minister highlighted several flagship welfare schemes launched under the Prime Minister’s leadership, including the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme (PMAY), Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission, and PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi. He said these initiatives have brought meaningful and positive changes to the lives of citizens, particularly the poor, farmers, women, and marginalized communities.

Dhami further emphasized that landmark initiatives such as the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, Digital India, National Education Policy 2020, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and the promotion of indigenous manufacturing in the defense sector have provided a new direction to the nation and strengthened India’s self-reliance and economic growth.

Referring to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chief Minister praised India’s massive vaccination drive and the ‘Vaccine Maitri’ initiative, describing them as exemplary demonstrations of India’s global leadership and commitment to humanity during a challenging period.

The Chief Minister also commended the Prime Minister’s efforts toward strengthening national security, honoring the armed forces, preserving India’s cultural heritage, and reviving Sanatan cultural consciousness. He described the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the development of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor, Mahakal Lok, and the reconstruction of Kedarnath Dham as symbols of India’s cultural pride and spiritual resurgence.

Expressing gratitude for the Prime Minister’s special affection and support toward Uttarakhand, Dhami noted that several key development projects in the state have gained momentum under his guidance. These include the Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham redevelopment projects, the Char Dham All-Weather Road Project, the Rishikesh-Karnaprayag Rail Project, the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, ropeway projects, Vande Bharat Express services, border area development initiatives, and various infrastructure projects.

The Chief Minister also mentioned the progress of the Lakhwar, Song Vyasi, and Jamrani multipurpose dam projects, stating that once completed, they will significantly strengthen drinking water supply and irrigation facilities in the state while benefiting millions of people.

Expressing confidence in the Prime Minister’s visionary leadership, Dhami said that India is firmly moving toward achieving its goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047. He added that under Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, the country is setting new benchmarks of growth and will continue to establish itself as a strong, self-reliant, and leading global power.

The Chief Minister concluded by wishing the Prime Minister good health, a long life, and continued success, expressing hope that his leadership will continue to guide India toward greater prosperity, development, and global prominence.
