Various organizations, including Gurudwara Sabha, BJP Mahila Morcha, Farmers’ Commission and Akhil Garhwal Sabha, congratulated Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on completing the longest tenure as the state’s Chief Minister.

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday received congratulatory wishes from representatives of various social, religious, farmer and employee organizations after becoming the longest-serving Chief Minister of the state. The representatives called on the Chief Minister at the Mukhya Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s residence and extended their heartfelt congratulations on this significant milestone.
During the meeting, the delegations appreciated the Chief Minister’s leadership in promoting good governance, transparent administration, inclusive development and effective implementation of public welfare schemes across the state. They said that under his leadership, Uttarakhand has witnessed notable progress in infrastructure development, tourism, investment promotion, employment generation, women’s empowerment and administrative reforms.
Among those who met the Chief Minister were representatives of the Gurudwara Sabha, Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha, Farmers’ Commission, Akhil Garhwal Sabha and the Regional Development Services Organization, along with members of several other social organizations. The delegations presented bouquets and mementos to the Chief Minister and conveyed their best wishes for the continued success of the state’s development and public welfare initiatives.
Expressing his gratitude, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the honour and good wishes he received were not a personal achievement but a reflection of the trust, affection and support of the 12.5 million people of Uttarakhand. He stated that the confidence reposed in him by the people serves as a constant source of inspiration to work with greater dedication and responsibility.
The Chief Minister said that under the guidance and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government remains committed to the holistic, balanced and sustainable development of Uttarakhand. He emphasized that the government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of development and welfare schemes reach the last person in society through transparent, efficient and citizen-centric governance.
He further said that the government is giving the highest priority to transparency, good governance, public service, accountability and welfare while continuously setting new benchmarks in development. Focused efforts are being made across sectors such as education, healthcare, roads, tourism, agriculture, employment, and youth and women empowerment to improve the quality of life of every citizen.
Highlighting the importance of public participation, the Chief Minister said that the active involvement of social organizations, religious institutions, farmers’ groups, employees’ associations, public representatives and citizens is essential for the state’s all-round development. He affirmed that the government is moving forward with the cooperation and valuable suggestions of all stakeholders to take Uttarakhand to new heights of progress.
