UTTARAKHAND NEWS: Certificate Distribution Ceremony Held for LED String Training Program at NCSC

Dehradun: The National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled (NCSC for DA), Dehradun, a key institution dedicated to training and employment of Divyangjans (persons with disabilities), hosted a certificate distribution ceremony following the successful completion of a week-long LED string manufacturing training program.

Established in 2018 under the Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, NCSC Dehradun has been actively working to make Divyangjans of Uttarakhand self-reliant through employment registration, skill development, self-employment support, and vocational guidance.

The training program, organized in collaboration with Harshal Foundation, concluded with a ceremony graced by the presence of Rajpur MLA Khajan Das and Cantt MLA Savita Kapoor, who attended as chief guests. They awarded certificates to 40 Divyang trainees and extended their best wishes for their future endeavors.

Rama Goyal, Executive Chairman of Harshal Foundation, conducted the program, while Santosh Kumar Singh, Rehabilitation Officer at the Centre, welcomed the guests and provided insights into the center’s ongoing efforts and various initiatives by the Government of India aimed at empowering persons with disabilities.

The event is being recognized as a significant step towards the social and economic empowerment of Divyangjans, equipping them with valuable skills and boosting their confidence to contribute meaningfully to society.
