Dehradun: Indian cricketer and Uttarakhand-born star Rishabh Pant has sought the intervention of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to help him acquire land in Uttarakhand, expressing his desire to shift his base from Delhi and build his first home in his native state.

Pant made the appeal through social media, directly addressing Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He said that he had been trying to acquire land in Uttarakhand for nearly three years but had so far been unsuccessful.

The cricketer requested the Chief Minister to intervene and facilitate the process of acquiring land in the state. He also suggested that the government could consider allocating suitable land to him if permitted under the applicable rules. Pant made it clear that he was willing to purchase the land at government-determined rates.

CM Dhami Assures Rishabh Pant of All Possible Assistance

Responding to Pant’s appeal, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami assured him that the state government would provide all possible assistance in accordance with the rules.

Dhami described Rishabh Pant as the pride of Uttarakhand and appreciated his desire to return to his roots and contribute to his home state. The Chief Minister said senior officials had been directed to contact Pant and extend the necessary cooperation regarding his request.

The assurance from the Chief Minister indicates that the state government is willing to facilitate the matter while ensuring that the process remains within the applicable legal and administrative framework.
