CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Participates in Grand Tapkeshwar Mahadev Procession in Dehradun

Offers prayers and prays for peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Uttarakhand

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the grand procession of Lord Tapkeshwar Mahadev at Saharanpur Chowk in Dehradun on Wednesday. The Chief Minister performed traditional rituals and offered prayers at the beginning of the procession along with Mahant Krishna Giri Maharaj, Mahant Digambar Bharat Giri Maharaj of Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple and Manoj Kumar Gupta, President of Tapkeshwar Seva Dal.

Praying to Lord Tapkeshwar Mahadev, Chief Minister Dhami wished for peace, prosperity, happiness and well-being for the people of Uttarakhand. He said that the rich religious and cultural traditions of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand are an invaluable part of the state’s heritage.

The Chief Minister said that religious events and traditional celebrations play an important role in strengthening faith, social unity, brotherhood and mutual harmony. Such occasions also provide an opportunity to connect the younger generation with the state’s rich cultural traditions, spiritual heritage and age-old customs.

CM Dhami extended his best wishes to all the saints, members of the organising committee, Tapkeshwar Seva Dal and devotees associated with the grand procession. He expressed hope that the blessings of Lord Tapkeshwar Mahadev would always remain with the people of Uttarakhand and that the state would continue to move forward on the path of development, prosperity and progress.

A large number of devotees participated in the procession and sought the blessings of Lord Tapkeshwar Mahadev. The religious event witnessed an atmosphere of devotion and enthusiasm as devotees joined the grand procession with reverence and faith.
