Dehradun – The Fitbox Marathon 2025, a 5-kilometre community run organized by the Fitbox Foundation, is set to take place on Sunday, 20th April 2025, from 5:00 am to 7:00 am. The event aims to foster a spirit of fitness, health, and unity among residents of Dehradun.
According to Pinaki Sen, Trustee of Fitbox Foundation, the marathon is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of community bonding, vibrant youth energy, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
The run will begin at the Fitbox Gym (Convenience Store) located in Vasant Vihar and follow a scenic route covering Vasant Vihar Chowk, Lovely Market, T State, Malik Chowk, ITBP (U-turn) before concluding back at Fitbox Gym at Anurag Chowk.
To ensure a safe and smooth experience for all participants, the event will be conducted under the expert supervision of Hemraj Singh, a certified race director and seasoned athletic coach from Maharana Pratap Sports College, Raipur, Dehradun. Medical support, including ambulances and first aid stations, will be available along the route.
Dignitaries expected to grace the event as chief guests include Pinaki Sen (Trustee, Fitbox Foundation), Dr. Harshwanti Bisht (Deputy Director, Directorate of Higher Education), Shweta Choubey (IPS Officer), Savita Kapoor (MLA, Cantt) and Khajan Das (MLA, Rajpur Road).
