CM Dhami Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack, Pays Tribute to Deceased Tourists

DEHRADUN: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, calling it a heinous assault on humanity and peace.

During a morning meeting at the CM residence, Dhami led a solemn tribute, observing two minutes of silence in memory of those who lost their lives in the tragic incident.

Expressing heartfelt condolences, CM Dhami said, “On behalf of the people of Uttarakhand, I extend my deepest sympathies to the families who lost their loved ones in this cowardly act. This attack is not just on innocent lives, but on the soul of our nation’s culture, peace, and humanity.”

The Chief Minister vowed that such acts of terror would not go unanswered. “The terrorists’ attempts to disrupt peace in Jammu and Kashmir will never succeed. A strong and appropriate response will be given, and those responsible will face the consequences,” he asserted.
