CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Extends Greetings on Sharadiya Navratri, Wishes Prosperity and Happiness for All
Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Uttarakhand on the auspicious occasion of Sharadiya Navratri. He wished happiness, prosperity, good health, and a harmonious life for all.
In his message on the eve of Navratri, the Chief Minister said that the festival holds special spiritual significance as it is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga in her nine divine forms. He emphasized that Navratri inspires devotion to Matrishakti (mother power) and teaches society the importance of respecting women.
The Chief Minister noted that Navratri is not only a festival of religious faith but also a reflection of India’s rich culture and traditions. Worship of Goddess Durga symbolizes courage, strength, and the path of righteousness.
Highlighting the tradition of Kanya Pujan during Navratri, he said it is closely linked with honoring girl children and recognizing the significance of women empowerment. This tradition reinforces the message of respecting daughters and nurturing equality in society.
