Sneh Rana Calls on CM Dhami After Women’s World Cup Triumph; CM Hails Her as Uttarakhand’s Pride

Dehradun: Women’s Cricket World Cup-winning player and Uttarakhand’s pride, Sneh Rana, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his official residence on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Dhami warmly congratulated Sneh Rana on the Indian women’s cricket team’s historic World Cup triumph and extended his best wishes for her future endeavors. He said that Sneh Rana’s remarkable performance and perseverance have not only brought laurels to the nation but also made Uttarakhand proud on the global sporting stage.

The Chief Minister remarked that players like Sneh Rana are role models for the daughters of Uttarakhand, inspiring them to pursue excellence in sports. He reiterated that the state government is dedicated to nurturing sporting talent by providing comprehensive support through the Uttarakhand Sports Policy, which ensures athletes receive proper training, employment opportunities, and financial assistance.

Special Principal Secretary for Sports Amit Sinha was also present during the meeting.
