Uttarakhand Cabinet pays tribute to veteran statehood leader Diwakar Bhatt during meeting chaired by CM Dhami

DEHRADUN: During the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Cabinet members paid heartfelt tribute to senior statehood movement leader and former Cabinet minister Diwakar Bhatt, who recently passed away.

At the beginning of the meeting, all members observed a two-minute silence to honor the departed leader. The Cabinet recalled Diwakar Bhatt’s invaluable role in the Uttarakhand statehood movement and his significant contribution to the State’s development after its formation.

Chief Minister Dhami and ministers highlighted that Diwakar Bhatt’s dedication, relentless struggle, and deep commitment toward the people of Uttarakhand will always remain a source of inspiration. The Cabinet also expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
