PRSI delegation invited Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to the National Public Relations Convention 2024 in Dehradun. The event will focus on “Public Relations in Developed India @ 2047” with 300+ delegates and special sessions on Uttarakhand’s silver jubilee year.
DEHRADUN: A delegation of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), led by Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Naresh Bansal, called on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday and extended a formal invitation for the upcoming National Public Relations Convention. The three-day convention will be held in Dehradun from December 13 to 15.
During the meeting, the delegation presented the Chief Minister with the event brochure and briefed him on PRSI’s key initiatives, objectives, and planned sessions for the convention.
The delegation informed the Chief Minister that the central theme of this year’s national convention is “The Role of Public Relations in Developed India @ 2047.” Over 300 delegates from across the country are expected to participate. In view of Uttarakhand completing 25 years of its formation, special sessions will highlight the state’s development milestones, achievements, and future roadmap.
Chief Minister Dhami expressed happiness over Dehradun hosting the national gathering and said that public relations plays a pivotal role in realizing the vision of Developed India @ 2047 as articulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that effective PR strategies can significantly enhance the branding of Uttarakhand’s tourism, cultural heritage, and local products.
The Chief Minister also underscored the importance of discussions on the constructive use of social media, maintaining continuous dialogue with citizens, combating misinformation, and understanding the growing influence of artificial intelligence in media and public relations.
The delegation included PRSI Dehradun Chapter President Ravi Bijarnia, Secretary Anil Sati, Treasurer Suresh Bhatt, Convener Siddharth Bansal, and members Vaibhav Goyal, Anil Verma, Ajay Dabral, Sanjay Bhargav, and Priyank Vashisht.
