The Uttarakhand government has taken a tough stance on maintaining law and order following a recent incident in Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed strong displeasure and made it clear that no compromise will be tolerated when it comes to public safety and law enforcement.
In immediate action, the Kuthal Gate outpost in-charge and a Deputy Excise Inspector have been suspended. The move is being seen as part of the government’s zero-tolerance policy toward negligence and misconduct.
Strict directives for statewide action
The Chief Minister has instructed the Director General of Police (DGP) to launch an intensive checking drive across the state. He emphasized strict action against anti-social elements, hooliganism, and illegal activities.

- Firing and violent acts
- Illegal late-night activities
