Pushkar Singh Dhami held a public grievance hearing at the Chief Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s residence, where he listened to issues raised by people from various districts of the state. A large number of citizens presented concerns related to roads, drinking water, electricity, healthcare, education, land disputes, and other public welfare matters.
The Chief Minister directed officials from the CM Office and concerned departments to ensure that all complaints and demands received during the hearing are addressed on a priority basis. He emphasized strict monitoring of each case and warned against any negligence or unnecessary delays. He also instructed that complaints be promptly forwarded to the respective departments and resolved within a fixed timeline, with proper feedback provided to the complainants.
Dhami stated that the government’s priority is to ensure quick and effective resolution of issues faced by every citizen. He described public grievance hearings as a powerful platform for direct communication between the government and the people, enabling authorities to understand ground-level challenges and take informed decisions.
He further said that the state government is committed to public welfare, good governance, and inclusive development. Extending the benefits of development schemes to remote and border areas remains a top priority. Officials have been directed to ensure that government schemes and services are delivered to citizens in a simple, transparent, and time-bound manner.
On this occasion, noted film actress Himani Shivpuri met the Chief Minister and expressed gratitude for the improved arrangements made for pilgrims during the Char Dham Yatra. She appreciated the administration’s proactive efforts in ensuring a smooth and safe pilgrimage experience.
Anganwadi workers also thanked the Chief Minister for his positive response and assurance regarding their concerns and demands.
