Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami formally inaugurated the new Amar Ujala Digital Office in Dehradun on Wednesday. Extending his best wishes to the Amar Ujala Group, the Chief Minister described digital journalism as a powerful medium of the information revolution, ensuring swift, accurate, and wide-reaching communication in the modern era.

Highlighting the role of credible media platforms, CM Dhami said, “Delivering correct and positive news to society through digital mediums by reputed institutions like Amar Ujala is an important step towards strengthening democracy. I am confident that Amar Ujala’s digital platform will effectively showcase the cultural heritage, social initiatives, and developmental achievements of Uttarakhand.”

During his visit, the Chief Minister also inspected the office premises, including the state-of-the-art digital newsroom and advanced technical facilities, and appreciated the efforts of the team in creating a modern media ecosystem. He emphasized that the state government values the partnership of media institutions in ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective communication with the public.

“The government is committed to promoting positive dialogue at every level, and media plays a vital role in bridging governance with the people,” CM Dhami added.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari, senior officials of the Amar Ujala Group, journalists, members of the technical team, and other dignitaries, who hailed the launch as a landmark step in expanding digital media outreach in Uttarakhand.
