CM Dhami takes pledge to keep rivers clean, appeals to respect them as ‘mother’ at Nadi Utsav 

Haridwar: At the Nadi Utsav program organized at Har Ki Pauri Brahmakund in Haridwar, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered prayers to Mother Ganga and wished for the prosperity of Uttarakhand. Marking the completion of his successful four years in office, the Chief Minister emphasized that rivers are not merely water sources but also the pillars of the state’s social, economic, and religious life.

Stressing that river conservation is crucial to tackle challenges like global warming, he appealed to all citizens to honor rivers as one would a mother and to keep them clean. The event saw a large gathering of public representatives, devotees, and dignitaries.

On this occasion, everyone collectively took a pledge to not pollute the rivers.
