FitBoxx Foundation Organizes Blood Donation Camp in Vasant Vihar

Dehradun: The FitBoxx Foundation, in collaboration with Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, organized a blood donation camp on Saturday at the FitBoxx Gym, Vasant Vihar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the community, reflecting a strong commitment to social welfare and healthcare.

Trustee, Pinak Sen highlighted the foundation’s ongoing efforts to promote community wellness, noting that a public marathon was recently conducted. “We aim to continue organizing such socially impactful events with the support of local residents,” he said.

The medical team from Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital ensured smooth and professional operations. Coordinated by Amit Chandra and supported by Mohit Chawla (PRO), Dr. Apoorva Bhattacharya, and their team, all blood samples were carefully collected, sealed, and transported to the hospital’s blood bank for further processing.

The camp was graced by several dignitaries, including Dr. Tarun Bhatia, former President of the Rotary Club Dehradun, who, along with his son Dr. Upasak Bhatia, donated blood to support the noble cause.

Among the other notable donors were FRI scholars Daylahoya Lukram, Roop Jyoti Das, Madan Sanyasi, Ankur Prajapati, Vikas Kumar, and Shalini Chauhan (Manager). Gym members Vaishali Negi and Anjali Chauhan Tomar also participated actively, along with community members Manish Rana, Nitin Chaudhary, Rohit Bisht, and Sumit Singh (Manager).

The camp successfully collected 62 units of blood, marking it as a commendable step toward saving lives and fostering community solidarity.
