Over 18,000 Consumers Receive LPG Supply in Dehradun Amid Strict Monitoring

Dehradun administration deploys QRT teams to curb LPG black marketing and ensure home delivery. Over 18,000 domestic consumers served, 26 complaints resolved, sufficient stock available.

Dehradun, March 27:
To curb black marketing of LPG cylinders and ensure 100% home delivery, the district administration has intensified its monitoring mechanism on the instructions of District Magistrate Savin Bansal. As part of this initiative, Quick Response Teams (QRTs) have been constituted across different areas of the district.

On Friday, QRT teams conducted inspections of gas agencies in their respective areas, closely reviewing LPG demand, supply, and distribution systems. The teams ensured that consumers are receiving timely deliveries and that no irregularities are taking place in the process.

The district administration received a total of 26 complaints related to LPG supply through its control room numbers—1077, 0135-2626066, 2726066—and WhatsApp number 7534826066. Officials from the District Food and Civil Supplies Department, Dehradun, are taking immediate action on these complaints to ensure prompt resolution.

According to official data, approximately 18,332 domestic consumers and 424 commercial consumers were supplied LPG cylinders in the district on Saturday. At present, a sufficient stock of 32,429 domestic cylinders and 1,672 commercial cylinders is available.

The administration has stated that the supply of both domestic and commercial LPG cylinders is being continuously increased. Strict action will be taken against any instances of black marketing or irregularities.

Consumers have been urged to report any issues related to LPG supply through the control room so that timely action can be ensured.
