Dhami mentioned that the Maha Kumbh has been connecting crores of people with religion and culture through the spiritual and cultural importance of Sanatan Dharma, maintaining its integrity for centuries. The festival of Maha Kumbh is not only a symbol of spiritual consciousness but also of national unity, integrity and brotherhood. This great festival of the world has been paving the way for world welfare by inspiring humanity, harmony and moral values for centuries.
Mother of CM Dhami also accompanied bathing in Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. Describing this moment as an invaluable and emotional moment of his life, the CM emphasised that it is mentioned in the Vedas, scriptures and Puranas that no living being can repay the debt of mother.
“On this divine occasion, I also realized that mother is not only the one who gives birth but is also like a living pilgrimage. All the good deeds in life are fruitful by serving and respecting her. This emotional moment is a living example of Sanatan culture, tradition and devotion for me,” he added.
