Dehradun: With the objective of providing quick, transparent, and accessible public services, a Mega Multi-Purpose Public Service Camp will be organized under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Savin Bansal on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Inter College campus, Village Kwasi, Chakrata Development Block.

Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah informed that senior district-level officers will be present at the camp to ensure on-the-spot redressal of public grievances. Various departments will set up dedicated stalls to disseminate information about central and state government welfare schemes and provide immediate benefits to eligible citizens.

The District Magistrate stated that, in line with government priorities, the camp is being organized to deliver basic amenities and government services to residents of remote areas. All departmental officers have been directed to participate with full preparedness, along with application forms and complete scheme details, to ensure maximum public benefit.

Key Services to Be Provided at the Camp

Social Welfare, Women Welfare & Probation Department

  • Verification of cases related to old-age, widow, disability, farmer and deserted women pensions

  • Applications for scholarships, National Family Benefit Scheme and Marriage Grant

  • Issuance of UDID cards for persons with disabilities through DDRC

  • Identification of malnourished children and distribution of assistive devices and artificial limbs

Health Department

  • Free general health check-ups and distribution of medicines

  • Preparation of disability certificates (offline) for subsequent online processing

  • Survey and treatment of malnourished children by RBS teams

  • De-addiction counselling, nutrition guidance, family welfare services and immunization

  • Free medical check-ups for pregnant women

  • Separate CHC counter for issuance of Atal Ayushman Health Cards

  • Eye examination and free distribution of spectacles

ICDS Department

  • Identification of malnourished infants, adolescents and women

  • Distribution of supplementary nutrition

  • Application forms for Nanda Gaura Scheme, PM Matru Vandana Yojana

  • Distribution of Chief Minister Mahalakshmi Kits and Kishori Kits

Rural Development & Panchayati Raj

  • Demand for MGNREGA works, job cards and resolution of payment-related issues

  • Applications for PM Awas Yojana (Housing Scheme)

  • Enrolment of new members under NRLM and REEP

  • Family Register copies and birth-death registration services

Education, Employment & Food Departments

  • Services related to Mid-Day Meal, Samagra Shiksha and RTE
