CM Dhami Lights ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ on PM Modi’s Birthday
Diya lit at Chief Minister’s residence wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi a long, healthy and successful life
Dehradun: On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami lit the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ at the Chief Minister’s residence in Dehradun on Thursday evening. The Chief Minister prayed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s good health, longevity, success and continued service to the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is continuously moving forward on the path of development and progress. He said Uttarakhand has also been benefiting from the Prime Minister’s guidance, with several development initiatives and projects in the state receiving greater momentum.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a new direction and pace to India’s development journey. He added that under his leadership, India is strengthening its identity at the global level and moving forward with the vision of self-reliance and a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
CM Dhami also highlighted Prime Minister Modi’s special connection with Uttarakhand. He said that under the Prime Minister’s guidance, the state has witnessed progress in connectivity, religious and spiritual tourism, development of border areas, infrastructure and various public welfare initiatives.
He said that considering Uttarakhand’s geographical and strategic importance, special attention is being given to connectivity and development in border areas. The state is also advancing in tourism, religious and spiritual activities and infrastructure development under the Prime Minister’s vision and guidance.
The Chief Minister said that the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ is not merely a ceremonial lamp-lighting programme but a symbol of the affection, respect and good wishes of the people of Uttarakhand for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The light of the diya also conveys prayers for the Prime Minister’s healthy, long and successful life, along with wishes for the continued progress, prosperity and bright future of the nation.
CM Dhami said that several service-oriented and public welfare activities are being organised across Uttarakhand on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. These initiatives aim to strengthen the spirit of service, dedication and public welfare and encourage wider public participation.
The Chief Minister said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country is progressing towards the goal of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Uttarakhand is also contributing to this journey with its vision of a ‘Viksit Uttarakhand’ and is working towards the overall development of the state.
