Dehradun, Uttarakhand — President Droupadi Murmu was accorded a grand welcome upon her arrival at Jollygrant Airport, Dehradun on Sunday. Governor Lt. General Gurmit Singh (Retd), Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan extended a warm reception to the President by presenting bouquets and greetings.
Cabinet ministers, legislators, senior administrative officials, and other public representatives were also present at the airport to welcome the President. Elaborate security and protocol arrangements were in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the visit.
The atmosphere at the airport and surrounding areas reflected enthusiasm and dignity on the occasion of the President’s arrival. During her stay in Uttarakhand, several formal programs and state-level events have been scheduled in her honour.
