Uma Bharti Meets Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami at CM Residence

DEHRADUN, 14 May 2026:

Pushkar Singh Dhami met senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Uma Bharti, at the Chief Minister’s residence during a courtesy visit.

During the meeting, the two leaders held detailed discussions on various contemporary issues, public welfare initiatives, spiritual and cultural heritage preservation, and matters related to national interest. The Chief Minister welcomed Uma Bharti and briefed her about Uttarakhand’s ongoing development projects, investment initiatives, tourism growth, women empowerment programs, and arrangements for the Char Dham Yatra.

Uma Bharti appreciated the development works and public-oriented initiatives being undertaken by the state government. She said that Uttarakhand represents a unique blend of spiritual consciousness and natural beauty. She also praised the efforts being made by the state government towards preserving cultural heritage, protecting the environment, and developing religious destinations.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the state government is continuously working to take Uttarakhand to new heights of development. He said the government’s priority is to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the last person in society and to establish Uttarakhand among the leading states of the country.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, where discussions were also held on organizational matters, social service, and nation-building initiatives. The Chief Minister thanked Uma Bharti for visiting Uttarakhand and extended his best wishes to her.
