Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Performs Kanya Pujan on Ram Navami, Prays for State’s Prosperity

DEHRADUN: On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami performed Kanya Pujan at the Chief Minister’s residence, honoring young girls as embodiments of the divine feminine.
Following traditional rituals, the Chief Minister offered prayers, served food to the girls, and sought their blessings. The ceremony reflected the deep-rooted cultural values of respecting women and celebrating their significance in society.
Extending his greetings to the people of the state, the Chief Minister said that the life of Lord Rama symbolizes righteousness, duty, and moral integrity. He emphasized that Lord Rama’s life inspires everyone to walk on the path of truth and dharma.
He further stated that the festival of Ram Navami strengthens faith in ideals such as discipline, dignity, and ethical values. Highlighting the importance of Kanya Pujan, he noted that such traditions promote respect for women and foster social harmony.
