Important Notice for Ration Card Holders: Collect July Foodgrains by July 31, 2026

Dehradun, July 21, 2026:
The District Supply Officer (DSO), K.K. Agrawal, has issued an important advisory for all ration card holders in the district, urging them to collect their July 2026 foodgrain quota on or before July 31, 2026.

The officer informed that, in compliance with the directives of the Government of India, the distribution of foodgrains for July, August, and September 2026 under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) and other government welfare schemes has commenced through all Fair Price Shops (FPS) across the district.

He clarified that the July 2026 foodgrain allocation will be available only until July 31, 2026, and beneficiaries can collect their entitlement exclusively through the e-PoS (Electronic Point of Sale) machines installed at Fair Price Shops.

The District Supply Officer appealed to all eligible beneficiaries to visit their nearest Fair Price Shop and collect their July ration before the deadline. Failure to do so within the stipulated period may result in beneficiaries missing their July foodgrain entitlement.

The district administration also advised beneficiaries facing any difficulty in receiving their ration to contact their respective Fair Price Shop dealer or the District Supply Office for assistance.
