Anganwadi Workers Meet CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Submit Memorandum Seeking Fulfillment of Key Demands

Dehradun: A delegation of Anganwadi workers, helpers, and mini Anganwadi employees met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence on Sunday to discuss their long-pending demands.

Led by State President Rekha Negi, the delegation presented a memorandum to the Chief Minister, highlighting issues  for Anganwadi workers across the state.

During the meeting, CM Dhami assured the visiting representatives of positive and prompt action on their grievances. He emphasized the significant role of Anganwadi workers in delivering essential child and maternal welfare services at the community level, and reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening this vital workforce.

Several members of the Anganwadi Employees’ Union were present during the meeting and expressed their gratitude for the Chief Minister’s considerate response.
