Uttarakhand State Foundation Day 2025: Governor Takes Salute, CM Dhami Makes Key Announcements at Silver Jubilee Parade

Dehradun: Uttarakhand celebrated the Silver Jubilee of its State Foundation Day with a grand ceremony held at the Police Lines in Dehradun on Friday. Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmeet Singh (Retd.) took the salute at the impressive parade, joined by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and several dignitaries.
The celebrations began with the rendition of “Vande Mataram”, marking the 150th anniversary of India’s national song. The Governor and Chief Minister jointly released the Uttarakhand Police Magazine–2025 and unveiled the Silver Jubilee Medal insignia.

A spectacular daredevil show by the Uttarakhand Police motorcycle team left the audience captivated. Police officers honored with the President’s Police Medal and Police Medal for distinguished service were felicitated.
