Uttarakhand Revises Commercial LPG SOP, Allocation Increased to 66%

Uttarakhand Implements Revised SOP for Commercial LPG Distribution, Allocation Increased to 66%

Dehradun:
In view of the rising demand for commercial LPG cylinders in the state, the Food and Civil Supplies Department has implemented a revised Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure better supply management. Secretary Anand Swaroop informed that the earlier SOP has been updated to make the distribution system more balanced, transparent, and priority-driven.

He stated that Uttarakhand had earlier received an additional 20% LPG quota from the Central Government. Further, due to the state’s efforts in promoting PNG (Piped Natural Gas), an additional 6% quota has been granted. With this, the total allocation has now increased from the earlier 40% to 66%.

The revised SOP aims to ensure uninterrupted LPG supply during the Char Dham Yatra, tourism season, industrial activities, and essential services. The new व्यवस्था will remain in force until further orders.
