Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Pays Tribute to Maharishi Valmiki on Valmiki Jayanti.
Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid heartfelt tribute to the great sage and poet Maharishi Valmiki on the auspicious occasion of Valmiki Jayanti. The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to the portrait of Maharishi Valmiki and remembered his immense contributions to Indian literature and culture.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dhami said that Maharishi Valmiki, revered as the Adi Kavi (first poet) and the composer of the epic Ramayana, continues to be a guiding light for humanity. “The teachings of Maharishi Valmiki inspire us to walk on the path of truth, righteousness, and compassion. His message of harmony, goodwill, and humanity holds timeless relevance and will continue to inspire generations,” he said.
The Chief Minister added that Valmiki Jayanti is an occasion to reaffirm our commitment to the values of equality, justice, and moral conduct that Maharishi Valmiki espoused through his life and writings.
