Public Hearing Held by Commission Probing UKSSSC Exam Irregularities

Dehradun: The single-member commission constituted by the Uttarakhand government to investigate alleged irregularities in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) competitive examination conducted on September 21, 2025, held a public interaction and hearing session in Dehradun on Wednesday.

The session took place at the Institute of Technology Development and Research (ITDA) auditorium at Survey Chowk, where candidates who appeared in the examination, examination center officials, coaching institute operators, and members of the public participated and presented their views, complaints, and suggestions before the commission.

The commission, headed by Justice (Retd.) U.C. Dhyani, is tasked with conducting a thorough inquiry into the alleged examination malpractices. Speaking on the occasion, Justice Dhyani assured that the investigation will be completely impartial, transparent, and evidence-based. He emphasized that the commission is making efforts to reach out to the people across different districts to gather all relevant inputs before submitting its final report.

“The inquiry will be conducted with complete fairness and objectivity. Every suggestion and piece of evidence received from the public is being carefully recorded and will form the basis of the final report,” said Justice Dhyani.

During the hearing, candidates urged the commission to ensure a free and fair investigation and to introduce stronger security and monitoring mechanisms for future competitive examinations to prevent such irregularities.

The Secretary of the Inquiry Commission, Vikram Singh Rana, informed that a comprehensive report is being compiled based on the representations, complaints, and suggestions received during the public hearing. He further stated that individuals may continue to share relevant information and evidence through the Commission’s official email.

Senior district officials including Additional District Magistrate (Administration) K.K. Mishra, Chief Education Officer V.K. Dhoundiyal, as well as several principals, examination in-charges, and general citizens were present at the public hearing.
