Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Pays Tribute to Sahibzadas on Veer Bal Diwas in Nainital

Nainital: On the solemn occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the historic Gurdwara in Mallital, the district headquarters of Nainital, and paid heartfelt tributes to Guru Gobind Singh and his four martyred sons—Baba Ajit Singh, Baba Jujhar Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh, and Baba Fateh Singh.

Remembering the unparalleled sacrifice of the Sahibzadas, the Chief Minister said that their martyrdom represents a unique and extraordinary chapter of courage, devotion, and supreme sacrifice, not only in Indian history but in the annals of world history. He emphasized that the bravery displayed by Guru Gobind Singh’s sons at such a tender age stands as a timeless symbol of commitment to religion, truth, and justice.

The Chief Minister lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to observe Veer Bal Diwas as a fitting and meaningful tribute to the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas. He said that this historic initiative will play a crucial role in preserving and passing on the inspiring stories of their valor, courage, and sacrifice to future generations.

“Despite their young age, the Sahibzadas displayed extraordinary fearlessness and moral strength while standing against injustice. Their supreme sacrifice continues to inspire the youth of the nation with the ideals of bravery, patriotism, selflessness, and duty,” the Chief Minister said. He added that their lives serve as a powerful reminder to remain vigilant, principled, and dedicated to the nation and society.

Several dignitaries were present on the occasion, including Nainital MLA Sarita Arya, Uttarakhand government officials Dr. Anil Kapoor Dabbu and Naveen Verma, BJP District President Pratap Bisht, President of Guru Singh Sabha Sardar Joginder Singh Anand, Secretary Amarpreet Singh Nonu, along with Sandeep Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Jeet Singh Anand, Jagjit Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Jasmeet Singh, Satnam Singh, Harnaman Singh, and Ajit Singh.

Senior district officials, including District Magistrate Lalit Mohan Rayal, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Manjunath T.C., and other administrative officers, also attended the program.
