Haridwar:
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami delivered a strong message of social harmony, unity, and human values while addressing the “Sadbhavana Sammelan” and Baisakhi Festival 2026 organized by the “Manav Seva Evam Utthan Samiti” at Rishikul Ground in Haridwar.

He stated that India’s ancient Sanatan culture is rooted in the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”—the world is one family—which defines the nation’s global identity.

The Chief Minister extended greetings on the occasion of Baisakhi and welcomed saints, guests, women, youth, and participants from across the country. He emphasized that events rooted in spirituality and social awareness help generate positive energy and strengthen societal bonds.

Appreciating the efforts of Satpal Maharaj and the organizing committee, he said that the organization is playing a vital role in promoting social harmony, service, and moral values.

In the current global scenario marked by conflicts and tensions, he stressed that the message of love, harmony, and humanity has become more important than ever.

The Chief Minister highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has strengthened the vision of “One Earth, One Family, One Future” at the global level.

He cited India’s support to other nations during the COVID-19 pandemic through vaccine supply, global recognition of yoga and Ayurveda, and assistance during disasters as examples of the country’s humanitarian commitment.

Emphasizing that national unity and social harmony are the foundation of progress, he described the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand as a historic initiative aimed at ensuring equality and social justice.

CM Dhami reiterated that preserving Uttarakhand’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage remains a top priority for the government.

He referred to ongoing redevelopment works at Kedarnath Temple and Badrinath Temple, as well as the development of the Haridwar–Rishikesh Corridor and Sharda Corridor, stating that these efforts are strengthening the state’s religious identity.

He also mentioned the establishment of a “Centre for Hindu Studies” at Doon University as a significant step toward preserving India’s knowledge traditions.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the Sadbhavana Sammelan will further strengthen the spirit of unity, harmony, and service in society and will have long-lasting positive impacts.

He also congratulated Satpal Maharaj and the “Manav Seva Evam Utthan Samiti” for successfully organizing the event.
