Administration Fully Prepared for Driver Recruitment Examination on May 31; 8,424 Candidates to Appear at 19 Centres
Four Zonal and Twelve Sector Magistrates Deployed to Ensure Fair and Peaceful Conduct of Examination
Dehradun, May 30, 2026:
The district administration has completed all necessary preparations for the written competitive examination for Driver (Vehicle Driver) recruitment, scheduled to be held on May 31. Comprehensive arrangements have been put in place to ensure that the examination is conducted in a fair, transparent, and peaceful manner.
In this regard, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) and Nodal Officer for the examination, K.K. Mishra, chaired a meeting on Saturday with all zonal and sector magistrates to review the preparedness and issue detailed instructions regarding examination management.
The Nodal Officer informed that a total of 19 examination centres have been established across Dehradun district for the recruitment examination. The test will be conducted on May 31 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and 8,424 candidates are expected to participate.
To ensure smooth and orderly conduct of the examination, the administration has deployed four zonal magistrates and twelve sector magistrates. All officers have been directed to strictly comply with the guidelines issued by the examination commission and maintain effective coordination throughout the process.
During the meeting, K.K. Mishra emphasized that maintaining the fairness, transparency, and confidentiality of the examination remains the administration’s highest priority. He instructed officials to ensure timely arrangements at all examination centres and strengthen security, discipline, and monitoring mechanisms to prevent any disruption.
The officers were also directed to maintain constant vigilance and ensure that all examination-related protocols are followed meticulously. Any negligence, irregularity, or violation of rules will be dealt with seriously.
The district administration expressed confidence that, with coordinated efforts and robust arrangements, the examination will be conducted smoothly, securely, and successfully. Candidates have also been advised to reach their respective examination centres well before the reporting time and strictly follow all examination guidelines.
