Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan Offers Arghya to Setting Sun on Chhath Puja, Prays for Prosperity of Uttarakhand
DEHRADUN: On the auspicious occasion of Chhath Puja, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan offered Arghya to the setting sun on Monday. On this occasion, he prayed to Lord Surya (Sun God) and Chhathi Maiya for the happiness, prosperity, good health, and well-being of the people of the state.
The Chief Secretary said that Chhath Puja is a grand festival dedicated to the worship of the Sun, symbolizing faith, devotion, and self-discipline. The festival reflects gratitude towards nature and strengthens the spirit of harmony, family values, and social welfare.
