CM Dhami Approves Over ₹5 Crore for Temple Beautification, Road Infrastructure and Development Projects Across Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved the release of the first installment of more than ₹5 crore for various development projects across the state. The approved works include temple beautification, road construction, rural infrastructure, wildlife protection measures and financial assistance for sports facilities.
In Yamkeshwar Assembly constituency of Pauri Garhwal, the Chief Minister approved ₹72.67 lakh for the beautification of Maa Bal Kunwari Mata Temple at Kathud Bada, Devikhal, with a first installment of ₹43.60 lakh.
For the Mahabgarh Temple in Dugadda Block, Pauri Garhwal, the government sanctioned ₹1.69 crore, releasing ₹1.02 crore as the first installment.
In Didihat Assembly constituency of Pithoragarh, Shri Harichand Devta Temple will be developed under a master plan with an approved cost of ₹1.42 crore, out of which ₹85.08 lakh has been released as the first installment.
The Chief Minister also sanctioned ₹90.16 lakh for the beautification of Nanda Devi Temple in Milam village, Pithoragarh Assembly constituency, with ₹54.09 lakh released in the first phase.
Similarly, Guru Gorakhnath Temple at Kaljhipa Joshi in Salt Assembly constituency, Almora, will be beautified with an approved project cost of ₹99.61 lakh, including a first installment of ₹59.76 lakh.
For the ongoing beautification of Mostamanu Temple in Didihat, the government approved the release of the remaining ₹39.31 lakh from the previously sanctioned ₹98.27 lakh project.
To strengthen rural connectivity, the Chief Minister sanctioned ₹79.44 lakh for the construction of the Tamli–Rupaligad–Seem motor road in Champawat Assembly constituency, releasing ₹47.66 lakh as the first installment.
In Silkot Gram Panchayat of New Tehri Assembly constituency, ₹93.85 lakh has been approved for fencing, protective walls and a CC railing pathway to safeguard villages and agricultural land from wild animals. The first installment of ₹56.31 lakh has also been sanctioned.
The Chief Minister also approved ₹5 lakh as financial assistance to the Uttaranchal Press Club, Raipur (Dehradun) for the purchase of sports equipment.
The state government said these approvals will strengthen religious tourism, improve rural infrastructure, enhance public safety and accelerate balanced regional development across Uttarakhand.
