CM Dhami calls on HM Amit Shah, discusses initiatives regarding development

New Delhi: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid a courtesy call on Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on 24 December. On this occasion, Dhami presented Amit Shah with a Munsiyari Shawl, a symbol of Uttarakhand’s regional culture and heritage.

During the meeting, Chief Minister briefed the Union Home Minister on the projects under the Vibrant Village initiative and the Winter Yatra. Discussions were also held on the empowering the cooperative sector and improving coordination between cooperative institutions and farmers. Official sources claimed that the meeting also provided an opportunity for Dhami to receive guidance from the Home Minister on various issues of state development.

It may be recalled that CM Dhami was in Delhi on 24 December to attend a meeting of the Union Home Ministry on the implementation of new criminal laws in the state.
