DEHRADUN: On the occasion of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid floral tributes to the great social reformer at his residence on Monday. Honouring Dr Ambedkar’s legacy, the Chief Minister remembered him with “deep reverence” and reflected on his monumental contributions to the nation.
Describing Dr Ambedkar as the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, Dhami highlighted his pivotal role in shaping a more just and equitable society. “Dr Ambedkar’s life was dedicated to the upliftment of the downtrodden and marginalised. His vision and values brought about a transformative change in our society,” he said.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the enduring relevance of Ambedkar’s teachings, calling on citizens to follow the path laid down by him. “This day serves as a reminder for all of us to imbibe Dr Ambedkar’s ideals in our daily lives and continue striving for social harmony and progress,” Dhami added.
