DEHRADUN: DM Savin Bansal Reviews Preparations for President’s Upcoming Visit

Dehradun – In view of the proposed visit of President Droupadi Murmu to Dehradun on 20 and 21 June, District Magistrate Savin Bansal convened a high-level review meeting on Tuesday at the Rishiparna Auditorium, Collectorate.

During the meeting, the District Magistrate instructed officials of all concerned departments to ensure timely and comprehensive completion of their assigned responsibilities. He laid special emphasis on the seamless organization of two major events – the Aashiyana programme scheduled for 20 June, and the International Yoga Day celebrations on 21 June.

Bansal directed the AYUSH Department to closely coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of the Yoga Day event. He also stressed adherence to all prescribed protocols at the event venues and called for inter-departmental coordination to ensure the success of the President’s visit.

Officials were urged to maintain high standards of preparation, considering the significance and sensitivity of the VVIP programme.

Present at the meeting were Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Jai Bharat Singh, Superintendent of Police (Sadar) Renu, City Magistrate Pratyush Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Harigiri, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Kumar, Joint Director AYUSH Mithlesh Kumar, Executive Engineer PWD Jitendra Kumar Tripathi, District Tourism Development Officer Seema Nautiyal, and other senior officials.
