Submit Enumeration Forms by July 7 or Risk Missing from Electoral Roll: Dehradun DM Issues Final Appeal
Over 1.90 Lakh Voters Yet to Complete Verification in Dehradun; District Administration Urges Immediate Action
Dehradun, July 4, 2026:
The Dehradun district administration has urged all eligible voters to submit their Enumeration Forms by July 7, 2026, as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign aimed at preparing a clean, updated, and error-free electoral roll. District Election Officer and District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan appealed to all voters who have not yet completed the process to immediately contact their respective Booth Level Officer (BLO) and submit their forms within the stipulated deadline.
Dr. Chauhan stated that out of 1.376 million (13.76 lakh) registered voters in the district, more than 1.186 million (11.86 lakh) have already submitted their Enumeration Forms. Additionally, 99.98 percent of the submitted forms have been successfully digitized, reflecting the significant progress made under the revision campaign.
However, 190,588 voters are yet to submit their forms. The District Magistrate emphasized that completing the verification process before the deadline is essential to ensure that every eligible voter remains properly included in the electoral roll. Failure to submit the Enumeration Form within the prescribed timeframe may affect a voter’s inclusion in the updated electoral list.
Digital Facilities Available for Busy Voters
Dr. Chauhan said that voters who are unavailable at home during the day due to work or other commitments can make use of the ECINet App or the “Book a Call with BLO” facility to connect with their Booth Level Officer at a convenient time and complete the verification process without difficulty.
Online Search Facilities for Electoral Records
The District Election Officer informed that voters from Uttarakhand can search for their own names, or those of their parents or grandparents, in the 2003 Electoral Roll through the website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Uttarakhand.
Similarly, voters from other states can verify their details through the Election Commission of India portal by checking the latest Special Intensive Revision electoral roll. Necessary information is also available by scanning the QR Code issued by the Election Commission.
Only Three Days Left
Reiterating his appeal, Dr. Chauhan said that July 7, 2026, is the final date for submitting Enumeration Forms, and only three days remain for eligible voters to complete the process.
He urged citizens not to wait until the last moment and to submit their forms well before the deadline to safeguard their democratic right to vote.
“The accuracy and completeness of the electoral roll are fundamental to free, fair, and transparent elections. Every eligible citizen must ensure that their name is correctly included in the voter list,” the District Magistrate said, while calling upon all residents to actively cooperate with the ongoing Special Intensive Revision campaign.
