Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government is set to launch the Pradhan Mantri E-Bus Seva Yojana soon, with 150 electric buses to operate in Dehradun and Haridwar, as per directions issued by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami during a review meeting of the Transport Department.
The Chief Minister emphasized the timely completion of EV charging infrastructure and the construction of bus depots, calling for fast-tracking the green cess implementation on vehicles entering from other states to boost revenue and support environmental sustainability.
