Dehradun/Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched the “Healthy Women, Empowered Family” campaign along with the 8th National Nutrition Month from Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. On this occasion, he also laid the foundation stone for several development projects and addressed a large public gathering.
The health campaign will run nationwide from September 17 to October 2, covering Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centers (CHCs), district hospitals, and other government health facilities. With over one lakh health camps planned across the country, it is being described as the largest health campaign for women and children in India so far. Health camps will be conducted daily at government health centers during this period.
In Dehradun, Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd.) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami virtually joined the national launch event. They also inaugurated the state-level program at the Government Doon Medical College, where they visited stalls and interacted with participants.
