DEHRADUN: A grand Maha Abhishek ceremony of 108 Parthiv Shivlingas was performed on Sunday, August 3 at Shiv Mandir, Aashirwad Enclave. The temple committee, along with a large number of devotees, actively participated in the spiritual event and received the divine blessings of Lord Shiva.

The ceremony began with Vedic rituals led by the temple’s chief priest, K.P. Chamoli, who first conducted the traditional Ganesh Puja. This was followed by the sacred Rudri Path chanted by a group of five Brahmins and the commencement of the Maha Abhishek of the Parthiv Shivlingas.

Towards the conclusion, all devotees joined in the evening Aarti and received Prasad. A grand Shobha Yatra (religious procession) was then taken out, and the Parthiv Shivlingas were ceremoniously immersed at the Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple.
