UTTARAKHAND NEWS: CM Dhami Performs Bhoomi Pujan for 213-Ft high National Flag in Khatima

Khatima: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday conducted the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for the installation of a towering 213-ft high national flag at Kanjabag Tiraha in Khatima.

Speaking at the event, CM Dhami emphasized that the national flag stands as a powerful symbol of the nation’s unity, integrity and valor. “It instills a deep sense of patriotism in every citizen,” he said. He also noted that the monumental flag will soon become a key attraction for visitors and tourists in the region.

The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries including Cabinet Ministers Ganesh Joshi and Saurabh Bahuguna, Member of Parliament Ajay Bhatt, Lt. General Sandeep Jain, Mayor of Rudrapur Vikas Sharma, and other prominent leaders such as Deepak Bali (Kashipur), Gajraj Bisht (Haldwani), Dr. Anil Kapoor Dabbu (Minister of State rank), Vinay Ruhela, MLA Shiv Arora, Trilok Singh Cheema, Gopal Singh Rana, Suresh Gadiya, BJP District President Manoj Pal, Kamal Jindal, and Ramesh Chandra Joshi, President of the Municipal Council.
