Incomplete repair work of roads should be done on priority basis: Dhami
DEHRADUN: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while reviewing on the pothole free roads campaign, took detailed information from the officials about the work completed so far. In a review meeting, held on 22 October, with the officials at the CM residence, the Chief Minister directed that wherever the repair work of roads has not been completed yet, it should be completed on priority basis. Safe and smooth traffic should be provided to the public. CM Dhami directed to take strict action against the officers who are negligent in the work of repairing the roads within the stipulated time limit.
“Vocal for Local” & “Atmanirbhar Bharat”
The Chief Minister directed the officials to promote the local products of the state in view of the festivals. Proper arrangements for the sale of local products should be ensured. He appealed to the people of the state to buy local products during the festivals. This will not only support local entrepreneurs and artisans, but will also give strength to campaigns like “Vocal for Local” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.

CM Dhami that in view of the festivals, an intensive checking campaign should be run to prevent adulteration. Regular sampling of food items should be done. The traffic system should be kept strong. It should be ensured that people do not face unnecessary problems in movement.
