DEHRADUN: Senior journalist Vikas Dhulia, serving as the State Bureau Chief of Dainik Jagran in Dehradun, passed away early on Monday morning. He was in his mid-fifties.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed deep sorrow over Dhulia’s untimely demise. Recalling his notable contributions as State Bureau Chief of Dainik Jagran and as former President of the Uttaranchal Press Club, the Chief Minister visited Dhulia’s residence in Dehra Khas to offer condolences to the grieving family. He also prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family to bear the loss.
Director General, Information, Banshidhar Tiwari, also expressed his condolences, highlighting Dhulia’s commitment to journalism and offering prayers for peace and strength to the family. District Magistrate Savin Bansal and Assistant Director/District Information Officer Badri Chand Negi also extended heartfelt condolences.
