DEHRADUN: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life and property caused by a cloudburst in Dharali village, located in the Harsil region of Uttarkashi district. He extended his condolences to the affected families and assured all possible assistance from the government.
The Chief Minister has directed officials to carry out relief and rescue operations on a war footing. Teams from the Army, SDRF, NDRF, district administration, and other agencies are actively engaged at the site. CM Dhami is in constant touch with senior officials and is continuously monitoring the situation.
Sharing his concern on social media, the Chief Minister wrote:
“The news of extensive damage caused by the cloudburst in Dharali (Uttarkashi) is extremely saddening and distressing. Relief and rescue operations are being conducted on a war footing by SDRF, NDRF, the district administration, and other related teams. I am in continuous contact with senior officials and closely monitoring the situation. Praying to God for the safety and well-being of all.”
